Plan for 2009
We are opening a new year……..
What have you planned for 2009?
Have you planned for 2009?
I find that planning for a new year is like going to a dentist to have teeth pulled! What the heck to I want to do next year? Do some travel, grow the blogs some more, increase the $ bottom line ….dreaming…dreaming….dreaming.
Unless I actually sit down and write out what the plan is for the next week, next month, next quarter, I find that before I know it, time has flown bye.
My secret to planning is not to sit and write down the end goals, but to break them up into little bite size pieces. I used to write down goals stating;
- a new car
- a holiday
- x income
- etc
then I would look at this list throughout the year and get completely de-motivated as the goals were huge.
Now it’s a tad different. The end goal may be the same but written on a daily or weekly basis.
If you want to make $1000 per week. That equates to $143 per day. So what do you have to do to make $143 per day?
Is it PPC, Blogging, Ebay, Affiliate Marketing?
How many hours per day do you have to put in to generate that project that will bring in those dollars?
I find that when it is broken down like this is a lot easier to achieve the goals than looking at the $1000 per week.
If the goal is $10,000 per week, no problem. That’s just $1430 per day. and you just go through the process to achieve this on an hourly, daily basis as above.
What ever your goals are for 2009, don’t be afraid of shooting for the stars. Just write you goals down at one par sec at a time and you will get there.
We wish you all the best for 2009 and hope all your dreams come true for you.
Remember – if you don’t have dreams they will never come true.
Have fun and be kind to each other.
